Voices of Tomorrow was CraftVantage Gallery's inaugural exhibition, setting the tone for everything that would follow. Twenty graduating students from art programs across Nigeria—from established institutions in Lagos to smaller programs in Jos and Calabar—presented their thesis works to the public for the first time.
The exhibition was deliberately diverse, featuring painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, and mixed media. What united the works was a shared sense of possibility—young artists unafraid to tackle big themes: identity, migration, technology, tradition, and Nigeria's place in the global art conversation.
Several artists from this exhibition have since gone on to international recognition. Voices of Tomorrow established CraftVantage's commitment to being the first gallery many emerging artists call home.
“A gallery that begins by listening to emerging voices is a gallery worth watching.”
