About the Exhibition

New Horizons marked CraftVantage's first major exhibition focused entirely on sustainable art practices. Fifteen emerging artists presented works created exclusively from recycled, reclaimed, or sustainably sourced materials—challenging the notion that environmentally conscious art must compromise on aesthetic impact.

The exhibition featured everything from sculptures made of ocean plastic collected from Lagos beaches to paintings created with natural pigments harvested from local plants. Each artist documented their material sourcing process, creating an educational component that ran alongside the main exhibition.

New Horizons established the template for what would become CraftVantage's signature approach: combining artistic excellence with environmental responsibility. The exhibition catalog became a reference guide for sustainable art practices in Nigeria.

New Horizons proves that the future of Nigerian art is not just bright—it's green.
