Where We Rest Our Weight

About the artwork

This painting shows the quiet bond between two children finding comfort in each other amid hardship. Their close posture, tired expressions, and simple surroundings reflect a childhood shaped by responsibility and endurance. Rather than focusing only on struggle, the painting highlights emotional resilience, companionship, and the silent strength found in shared survival.
