About the artwork

Mask Adorations explores the many identities we wear and the emotions we conceal in everyday life. This series reflects on the different personalities, social roles, and emotions that shape human interaction. Through repeated faces, mask-like forms, expressive linework, layered materials, and vibrant colours, the work examines the tension between our authentic selves and the identities we present to society. Some masks protect, some conceal, while others become part of who we are. Mask Adorations invites viewers to look beyond the surface and question what lies beneath the masks we admire, wear, and hide behind.
