Izuka Joy Chidinma is a Nigerian visual artist working across sculpture, painting, and installation. Using materials such as metal, fiberglass, clay, wood, and plaster, she explores form as a vehicle for storytelling and emotional expression.
She holds a National Diploma from Federal Polytechnic Nekede and a Higher National Diploma in Sculpture from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, and trained at Denedo France Studio. Her work is rooted in a "ministry of hope," aiming to heal and inspire. She has exhibited at Art Battle Lagos (2023), LIMCAF (2023, 2025), and VillaArtFest (2024), and continues to expand her practice.
"A great artist follows the rules to break the rules."
I want my works to be known for values such as hope, energetic, bold yet subtle, and the holding of our cultural heritage.
